JUDA Dallas is a warm, encouraging Hebrew school where every child is met where they are — and celebrated for how far they grow.
Imagine a Hebrew school where kids don't want to miss a day. They walk in with a smile and leave humming a Hebrew song. Through the halls you can hear lively discussion, singing, laughter, and the sounds of a community that truly loves being Jewish. Imagine your child feeling the warmth and spirit of Judaism — and imagine the pride you'll feel watching it happen.
Welcome to JUDA Dallas — an exciting, innovative Hebrew school with a well-earned reputation for creative, meaningful Jewish education. We welcome children from all backgrounds and affiliations, from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Synagogue membership is never required. Every child belongs here.
At JUDA Dallas, we move past traditional Hebrew school methods and embrace a fresh, dynamic approach. Through art, music, baking, drama, and hands-on creative experiences, every Sunday becomes its own adventure. Jewish holidays and traditions don't just get taught — they get lived. And woven through it all is our outstanding Aleph Champ Hebrew reading program, which meets every child exactly where they are and builds real, lasting fluency in the language of our people — one proud level at a time.
We encourage you as a parent to get involved, ask questions, and stay connected. Our door — and our inbox — is always open.
Hebrew reading is taught through the Aleph Champ program, which meets each child exactly where they are. Inspired by karate belt levels, students progress through 10 color-coded levels at their own pace — building confidence and skills step by step. No child is ever compared to another or made to feel behind. Each level mastered is a real accomplishment, and that sense of pride is what keeps children motivated and eager to keep going.
We make Judaism something children genuinely connect with — through creativity, story, song, and experience. When learning is fun and memorable, it sticks for life.
Every child learns differently and at their own pace. We meet them where they are, cheer on their progress, and make sure no child ever feels left behind.
Alongside language and learning, we nurture a warm connection to Jewish holidays, traditions, and values that children carry with them for life.
While the kids are in class, parents are invited to their own 30–45 minute session every Sunday. It's a warm space to explore Jewish ideas, traditions, values, and practical Judaism — often connected to exactly what your child is learning that very week. Jewish education really does work best when the whole family is growing together.
